This is to let you know that how I work with clients complies with the GDPR, which came into force in May 2018. 

 

I keep brief written records for all my clients, which will include their names, addresses and other contact details. My personal notes are written to ensure I accurately record the main details of meetings and other communications with clients, as well as a brief summary of their baby’s birth. 

 

All hand written material is kept securely in a locked filing system and the key stored in another location. I will never pass this sensitive information to any other organisation or anyone else without my clients’ express consent. I consider information passed to me to be highly confidential and treat it as such. 

 

Similarly any emails or messages using other media stored on PC or phone are also password protected. I do pay for a VA to help me with admin and they might have access to my files and folders on a need to know basis and any access by someone other than me is recorded and reasons why given.
